Women: The survival of the fittest
यत्र नार्यस्तु पूज्यन्ते , रमन्ते तत्र देवताः ।
यत्रैतास्तु न पूज्यन्ते सर्वास्तत्राफला क्रिया ।।
meaning : where women are honoured, divinity blossoms there, and
where ever women are dishonoured all action no matter
how noble it may be , remains unfruitful
The above Sanskrit verse is taken from a book called Manusmriti (one of the ancient Indian literature in Hinduism). This verse from ancient India is very respectful of women. But does the responsibility end with writing four sentences well in a book? When we read a good sermon by someone, we say, wow, what a beautiful piece of writing, what wonderful thoughts. In every corner of the world, there have been great men of good thoughts who understood the cost of women and wrote to explain their thoughts to the next generation but from that ancient time till now the woman race has been fighting. Who implements the written things? Millions of women in the world are still living in mind slavery because they do not know what freedom is. The world's largest democracy is India but 48 percent of its population cannot go out after 6 o'clock.
A woman named Mahsa Amini has shaken the whole world. Some people are supporting and some are opposing. 300,000 years have passed since the origin of the human species but even today those women living in Iran are still being told by men what to wear.... and to be honest, this is not limited to just one country Iran. Although the pseudo winds of feminism are blowing worldwide, it has not affected the life of an ordinary woman in any way.
Darwin's theory of evolution is known to the whole world, in which Darwin talks about the survival of the fittest and says that the one who stands firm in all environments survives. If a goat and a tiger are kept together, the tiger will eat the goat and the goat will perish but the tiger will live. There is something similar in our grandfather's society. let us start with our house, in the majority of houses, the father has the power before the father's father has the power. From taking small decisions in the house, they do everything according to their will and the women of the house listen to them. Why do they listen? Because they think this is the way of the world. But basically why do they think so? Because they were taught this from generation to generation. We are the ones who teach and we are the ones who endure. Our survival of the fittest starts from home. Putting pressure on women, and girls, imposing their own rules on them. The man of the house also decides when they should come in and when they should go out. Girls cannot choose what clothes to wear and what not to wear. Always at home, outside, and in society, the strong suppress the weak because if he does not, their very existence will be threatened.
In India, nameplates are placed outside people's houses, even there, only the name of the man in the house was written. It is from there that the girls are indirectly told who is the master and who is the servant. Our society has different rules for boys and girls and they are not made by God. They are made by the oppressor for the oppressed. A boy can urinate openly in a public place and no one will say anything to him. According to society, it is not wrong. But it is wrong for a girl to wear short clothes. Great people like Swami Vivekananda passed away in the country who went on the world stage and said that I come from a country where we don't judge a person's character by his/her clothes but by his/her qualities. But today in their country, people are standing in queues to distribute character certificates based on the length of their skirts.
I am also a part of this rotten society for years. Since childhood, I have seen equality only in the constitution but the reality is very scary and heartbreaking. I look at girls of my age and when I speak, I understand how brainwashed this generation is. What are we going to explain to the majority of girls if they are not ready to understand? According to society has been running like this since before and it will continue to run like this, we cannot change it. I think these girls are emotional terrorists. Just like you can't convince a terrorist, what he is doing or killing innocent people is wrong, what he is doing is wrong for you but what he has been raised with is right for him. He is brainwashed and we can never explain to him the difference between good and bad. The same has happened to the majority of girls in the world. They have been controlled by society and family to such an extent that they do not even see that the girls are being treated unfairly.
I have never understood the concept of western feminism and I don't expect to ever understand it. While scrolling through Instagram, someone came across a post of a western feminist. She was horribly fat and captioned this is healthy. My body my choice and whatnot. How being fat can be healthy and what is the relationship between being fat and feminism is a big puzzle to me. Feminism is such a beautiful word and very strong too, but instead of using it to solve the problems in the world, these so-called feminists are using it to solve things that don't even exist. In today's scientific world there are 496 million women who cannot read and write. Why is no one talking about them? According to pseudo-feminists, if you do things like drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes, and wearing a bikini, it is women's empowerment.
#Estimates published by WHO indicate that globally about 1 in 3 (30%) of women worldwide have been subjected to either physical and/or sexual intimate partner violence or non-partner sexual violence in their lifetime. Most of this violence is intimate partner violence.
# “Female Infanticide Worldwide: The case for action by the UN Human Rights Council”, the report makes a continent-wise analysis of infanticide patterns. It sets the tone by stating that 117 million girls demographically go “missing” due to sex-selective abortions, as claimed by the United Nations Population Fund.
#Women own less than 20 percent of the world's land. the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization survey of 34 developing nations put the percentage as low as 10. this is disturbing if you consider that half of the world's population is women . more than 400 million of them farm and produce the majority of the world's food supply yet female farmers lack equal rights to own land in more than 90 countries.
# According to UN Report Even today, women are paid less than men for the same work.
Women have been fighting for their basic human rights for thousands of years and will continue to fight? Only the question I want to ask is, When exactly does it stop?.....................
EXIST LOUDLY
Very good thoughts on present condition of women.... Reality is bitter but we have to accept it..
